7th Grade:

8th Grade:

“A Retrieved Reformation”
For the day of the exam students must present a comic strip of the story “A Retrieved Reformation.” It must be presented in white sheets of paper; no blotches of ink, with nice and neat margins (please use rulers). Grammar will be graded. Work that does not meet the criteria will not be received.

For September 20- Each student must write a tribute to his/her mother. The tribute can be a poem, an essay, a song, or even a video. Students should send their work via e-mail to be checked and proofread

8th:  Students will work on their posters


9th: “Old Man of the Temple”
Short story
Fantasy and reality
For September 22: Movie trailer: Students will present their movie trailer to the movie: “The Cask of Amontillado.” The students will be the actors of their movie trailers. Trailer should be 2-3 minutes long, include music (soundtrack) that captures the mood of the story.
