For September 2: Survivor video: Based on the story “The Masque of the Red Death” each student must make a video recording of him/herself as the sole surviving guest. Describe what you saw and how you managed to survive. Video must be 2-3 minutes long. Must be saved onto a USB; videos on phones, i pads, tablets, or videos saved online will not be accepted.

11th: “Rip Van Winkle”

Setting of a story
Making predictions
Creating a list of Virtues to live by, for a week each student will try to live by the list of virtues they've written for themselves. Each student will record his/her progress and write a reflective essay according to his/her results. Due Thursday, September 1.
